Privacy policy
We take the privacy of children and parents seriously. This site has no sign-up, no accounts, no ads and no tracking tools. We only collect the data below when you choose to submit a drawing to the Draw World Exhibition Hall.
| Data | Why | Public? | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drawing picture, scene, picture type | Review and show in the hall | Yes (once approved) | Up to one year from submission, even after the show ends |
| Nickname (created by you in the app, up to 12 characters) | Shown next to the drawing; reviewed too | Yes (once approved) | Same |
| Email address (required) | Only for us to contact and manage in the back office; we are not sending emails at the moment | Never public | Up to one year, or until you ask us to delete it |
| Submitter code (random, made in the app, no personal data) | Limits one submission per person per day; we only keep a salted hash, for 3 days | No | 3 days |
| Status address (long random string) | Lets you see the review result without logging in | No (anyone who knows the address can see the status, so keep it safe) | Same as the drawing |
What we do not collect: recordings (if an exported drawing file contains one, it is removed on your device before upload), real names, addresses, phone numbers, location, device identifiers.
Automatic checks: to protect children, the drawing picture and the nickname are sent to a third-party AI service for a first check, then reviewed by a team member. We send only the picture and the nickname, never the email.
Abuse protection: a captcha service may be used when you submit; our host (Amazon Web Services) keeps short-lived access logs as usual (for example IP addresses) for security and debugging only, deleted automatically after a short time.
On your device: only preferences such as the language (localStorage). We do not use cookies to track you.
Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your submission and email at any time: contact us from the email you used and include the status address. We do not sell or rent your data.
Children: before a child submits, a parent or guardian should read this page and submit or agree on their behalf.
Submission terms
- The drawing must be drawn by you (or your child) and you must have the right to let us show it.
- Do not submit other people’s copyrighted characters (cartoons, game characters), photos of real people, or violent, sexual, hateful, political or religious promotional content. Do not write a real full name, phone number, address or web address in the drawing or the nickname.
- Every submission goes through an AI check and then a human review. We may decline without giving a reason and may take a drawing down at any time.
- One submission per person per day.
- Once approved, your drawing and nickname are shown in the hall for a while (one month by default). You allow us to display it free of charge, resize it and show it inside the game scenes for this purpose. You keep the copyright.
- You can ask us to take it down early or delete it at any time.
- The hall and the site are provided “as is”. We do our best to keep them running but cannot promise there will be no interruptions.
